Antique Time Buyer Instructions

Thank you for visiting our Buyer Instruction page for the purchase of items sold at auction on eBay.  Here you will find detailed instructions to help you complete the auction transaction.

BUYER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING

The Buyer and Seller agree to contact each other within three days of the closing of the auction.  Payment must be received within 10 days of the closing of the auction.  This agreement is within the terms and conditions of eBay's policies.

WINNING BID NOTIFICATION

Do not, under any circumstances, use the eBay Check Out feature.  Also, don't use the Vendio Winning Bid Notification (WBN).  Using either one of these forms or features will only delay the completion of the auction transaction.  We utilize our own forms and have done so long before the above features were instigated by eBay and Vendio.  If we receive these forms, they will be directed to our trash bin.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM US

  1. At the close of the auction we will send you an email requesting your name and your shipping address.  This email will be sent from this email address TimebuilderEbay@aol.com.  This is our official email address that is registered with eBay.  If your name and address is already listed on the End Of Auction notice that we receive from eBay, we will simply send you an Invoice from us via eBay's system.
     

  2. When we have received your information, we will prepare an invoice that has the total amount due which will include the cost of shipping to your location.  This invoice will be emailed to you from within the eBay system.
     

  3. This invoice will also contain your payment options.  It is very important that you have your mail programs set to receive email from the above email address.  If you don't, we can't be responsible for you not receiving our invoices for your purchase.
     

PAYMENT OPTIONS

ANNOUNCEMENT:  IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH EBAY'S NEW PAPERLESS PAYMENT POLICY WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CHECKS FOR AUCTION PAYMENTS AFTER EBAY'S DEADLINE.  THANK YOU.

  1. Personal & Business Checks.  We will gladly accept your personal or business check in payment of the auction if your item is to be picked-up at one of our business locations.  Otherwise payments must be made using PayPal.
     

  2. Money Orders & Cashiers Checks.  We only accept these for items that are picked-up at one of our business locations.  Otherwise payments must be made using PayPal.
     

  3. Credit Cards.  These are processed via PayPal.

FEEDBACK POLICY

We always try to make every effort to leave factual positive feedback as it relates to every auction that we conduct on eBay. We treat feedback very seriously and we never abuse it by leaving non factual comments.

If you have not received feedback from us for your purchase and you have received your item, please let us know.  Your feedback will then be returned shortly.  You may wish to leave yours for us first  to let us know that you have received your item and that it arrived safely.

 We normally do not run tracking numbers to determine if items have been received.  We rely on feedback from our customers for this information.

The reason for this is that we have a program or a feedback "robot" that looks for new feedback several times a day that has been left for us. New feedback reports are then sent to us. Your feedback will then be returned by us within 3 hours This "robot" only reports to us that feedback has been left. It does not write feedback nor does it generate feedback. We personally write and enter all feedback for each buyer and each auction.

If you have left feedback and feedback has not been returned within one (1) business day please email us and we will rectify the situation. This usually is not necessary
 

ANTIQUE TIME INVOICE

The winning bidder will receive an Invoice from ANTIQUE TIME at the close of the auction. This Invoice will contain the final bid amount and the shipping costs for the item purchased. If you win more than one item, we will combine shipping in order to save you money.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE

The winning bidder pays the exact shipping cost. Antique Time and Timebuilder Auctions pays for the tracking and insurance within the United States. We ship all items via Priority Mail. Customers outside of the United States please contact us for your shipping details and payment options. We are here to assist you in making your purchase.

RETURN POLICY

Antique Time and Timebuilder Auctions want our customers to be happy with their purchases. We take every effort to accurately describe and photograph each item that is offered for sale to the best of our ability. If in the event we have failed to perform to your expectations, we will make it right with you by offering a full refund, less shipping and handling. We may at times require a restocking fee of 10 percent. Please examine each photograph carefully as they, at times, can tell you more than our description. If we have grossly made a mistake in our description, you will receive a full refund, no questions asked. We vow to always deal with our customers professionally, and we ask that our customers extend us the same courtesy.
